Windrose Pool

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Windrose's neighborhood pool. It has a huge shallow pool attached to a larger, deeper pool and a really neat double water slide. It was the perfect place to have four kids with different swimming abilities. We met the Scalises and Davis' there for a morning of swimming and a picnic lunch.

Although Meyer Davis is only 5 years old, I kid around with her that I would love to hire her to babysit my children :-) She loves Lily and Emery and does an amazing job taking care of them!

Two Big Accomplishments

#1 - Lily has been EXTREMELY afraid to swing on any swing but the baby one in our house. I am not exaggerating when I say she screams and shakes when she is just sitting on the swing let alone when it is actually moving. But one day she got the courage to take baby steps when attempting to swing...baby steps, laying on her tummy...

#2 - All 4 Hall children are taking a bath together now. It is so much fun and a lot easier for Mommy and Daddy. Aubrey does a great job helping hold and soap her brother while he gets better at sitting up. We wonder how long they will all fit in there together?!?!

Lady Bug Birthday Party

Aubrey visits Nana

I met my mom and my niece, Bella, in Buffalo (halfway to Dallas on 45) so she could take Aubrey home with her for a couple of days.

We had a quick lunch together before we headed home at a Sonic where you can actually eat inside.

Nana took the girls on adventures all around Fort Worth during their stay. First they went to story time at the Amon Carter Museum.

Then they went to Fort Worth Country Day School to see where Nana works and to have lunch.

The next day they toured TCU.
The Horned Frog

Frog Fountain...the girls are attempting to make the 'Frog Sign' with their fingers. They still have a few years to practice that!

While Aubrey was gone, the rest of us went to our fun Thursday activity at Noah's Ark. It is the perfect place to go to cool off with multiple children that are not expert swimmers. There is plenty to play around with and the water is only knee/waste deep for kids.

Emery went down these slides over and over again. Her little knees were all scraped up from going down face first so many time but that didn't stop her. She had a blast!

We went back up Highway 6 (through College Station) to pick up Aubrey and ended up meeting them at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. We stopped and had a snack in the back of the car before heading home.

We missed you Aubrey but are glad you had such a wonderful time visiting Nana!
