Aubrey visits Nana

I met my mom and my niece, Bella, in Buffalo (halfway to Dallas on 45) so she could take Aubrey home with her for a couple of days.
Here are the kids waiting patiently for Nana and Bella to arrive...
...some of us became a little less patient!
We had a quick lunch together before we headed home at a Sonic where you can actually eat inside.
Aubrey and Bella were preparing for their fun with Nana!
Nana with 5 of her 7 grandchildren who are all 4 years old and younger!
Aubrey and Bella in Nana's car ready to make the trip to Fort Worth. My mom said they talked and sang "Jingle Bells" the WHOLE way home!
Nana took the girls on adventures all around Fort Worth during their stay. First they went to story time at the Amon Carter Museum.
Cousins Friends
Then they went to Fort Worth Country Day School to see where Nana works and to have lunch.
The next day they toured TCU.
The Horned Frog
Frog Fountain...the girls are attempting to make the 'Frog Sign' with their fingers. They still have a few years to practice that!
Looking at the frog print. They stopped in to cool off and have a drink at the Student Union.
They had a lot of fun at Nana's house also. Here they are with their "If you give a Mouse..." books and stuffed mice.
Here they are playing store. And here they are playing dressing up in skirts that Nana made for them.
Thank you Nana for capturing all the wonderful moments y'all shared. Aubrey had a fabulous time!
While Aubrey was gone, the rest of us went to our fun Thursday activity at Noah's Ark. It is the perfect place to go to cool off with multiple children that are not expert swimmers. There is plenty to play around with and the water is only knee/waste deep for kids.

Capturing a moment of mothering...Lily pushing a fussy Carter and Emery trying to give him the paci to help him stop crying.
Emery went down these slides over and over again. Her little knees were all scraped up from going down face first so many time but that didn't stop her. She had a blast!

We went back up Highway 6 (through College Station) to pick up Aubrey and ended up meeting them at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. We stopped and had a snack in the back of the car before heading home.
We missed you Aubrey but are glad you had such a wonderful time visiting Nana!
