Wedding Weekend - Thursday Night

My brother, Drew, met this amazing girl, Kim, a little over a year before they got married. They met through church mission work, dated long distance while she lived in Costa Rica, got engaged in February and this was their wedding weekend. We drove to Dallas on Thursday afternoon and met up with some of our family for Happy Hour at the Magnolia Hotel downtown where we were all staying for the weekend. Aubrey is sitting with her Nana and Great-Gramps. Aunt Lois and Uncle Ed drove two days from Louisville, Kentucky with Gramps to be there for the wedding. It meant a lot to have them there.
Then we walked across the street to this delicious Mexican restuarant. I highly recommend the fish tacos!
Mike did a great job of keeping Carter entertained and seated all through dinner.
The queso was finger lickin' good.
Aubrey is sitting on Meggie's lap. Meggie is Kim's best friend and the maid-of-honor. The great thing about this picture is that Aubrey had met Meggie about 30 seconds prior to taking it. The Hall girls just assume everyone wants to hold them or have them sit on their lap :-) We appreciated Meggie being such a good sport.
3 generationsOn our walk back to the hotel from dinner we stopped in this courtyard.
This precious little puppy was out playing in the courtyard.
It loved being pet by ALL the Hall kids.
The part of the hotel where the reception was going to be had this pool table so the men decided to stop and play a game before they headed to bed.
