The day of the party was Clay's annual Snowday which I thought was going to be a wonderful thing. Snow = entertainment turned out to be Snow = a lot of people, a big mess and a few kids getting pelted with ice balls. The kids didn't seem to mind any of that and the parents made it through it. As a matter of fact, a few of the kids were sliding in the mud by the end of the party. Thanks to our friends for being so flexible :-)

Happy Birthday to our sweet little boy!
Carter watched that candle very carefully as we sang 'Happy Birthday' to him.
He loves blowing out candles.
Along with it being snowday, Santa was also at the restaurant so people were able to get their pictures taken with him if they hadn't already. He was giving out candy canes to all the kids. Carter definitely enjoyed his!
The Favors -- a combination of the Hall's favorite songs ending with the TCU fightsong, of course! Carter helped pass out the favors to his guests. We came home and opened presents later that day. Carter was very excited about getting some new trucks... ...and a lawnmower that he can push around instead of a pink shopping cart.
It was another fun, successful birthday bash!

Hey there!! I found your blog when looking into Clay's for our son's birthday party this year. He will be 1 in December - looks like we want to skip the snow weekend :)
Were you all on the back porch? I know they have heaters, I just wanted to be sure it wouldn't be too cold for everyone.
Thanks for any feedback you can give!!
