Mike had the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to California with his dad and brother to watch TCU play in the Rose Bowl. It was an incredible experience and I am glad he was able to enjoy it with some of the biggest football/TCU fans I know. So on New Year's Day the rest of us got ready to cheer on the Frogs from our own house (We were supposed to watch the game with some fellow TCU fans but they had the stomach bug going around their family.) We are EXTREMELY proud to be TCU fans right now!
I was very impressed with the pictures Mike took while they were there. He captured all of the important details which makes it very easy to blog about :-)
One of the locations where floats for the Rose Bowl parade were being put together.Just some of the millions of beautiful roses used for all the floats.
This picture was for my dad...the Anheuser Bush float.

The record breaking attendance...94,118.
This was an awesome game. I can only imagine what it was like in that stadium because in our living room their was a lot of screaming, nail-biting, hiding under pillows and cheering! TCU pulled off a 21-19 victory over the Wisconsin Badgers. Mike captured some of the on field celebration.
