...tractors, trucks and trains for Carter...
...and an art set for Emery.Christmas day was super relaxing for our family. It took us most of the morning to open stockings, eat breakfast and open the rest of our presents. Believe it or not, the kids were very patient about waiting while we took turns opening one gift at a time.
It was another year filled with baby dolls for the Hall girls. In their opinion they could ever have enough babies.Even Carter wanted to play with a baby! Awkward picture...but I was modeling my new apron. I never thought I would be an 'apron person' but after having trouble getting bacon grease out of shirts, I now believe in them.
After all the gifts were opened, we finally got cleaned up to start working on our 2nd Annual Christmas Day Shrimp Boil. (It has officially become a tradition because it is really easy and very delicious.) Emery playing with the 'big dolls' that Nana got each girl along with an adorable wardrobe for each doll.
First Christmas as husband and wife.
It was unusually cold for Houston that day (perfect Christmas weather to people that grew up in St. Louis :-) so Aubrey bundled up to go out and help with the boil.
The guys and Aubrey cooking dinner.
Merry Christmas Y'all!
