New Years Eve Slumber PARTY

This year while Mike was in California for New Years, the kids and I decided to stay in on New Years Eve and have a SLUMBER PARTY! We blew up the air mattress, found plenty of blankets and pillows and made ourselves all comfy on the living room floor.
We rented a bunch of movies because we couldn't decide which one we wanted to watch. The variety turned out to be a good thing because "Nanny McPhee" ended up being the only movie that wasn't 'too scary' for each kid to watch. They don't like to watch anything with 'bad guys' in it, which makes the choices very limited :-)
A slumber party isn't complete without popcorn to eat!
Carter enjoyed part of the movie with us but slept in his bed that night. As for the rest of us, we had a wonderful time and were ALL asleep by 9:00.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Love that you did this! So fun! Was even more impressed if Carter had stayed. Probably best for all....

A banquet brooklyn halls in a hotel is very different from golf course, which is very different from a mansion. Each of these event venues convey something different.
